Quite GoodSep 03, 2010 I really like this little thing.
I only found out about the coffee presse because my future mother in law uses one for coffee (whenever she drinks it). She only uses the conventional coffee making machine for when she has guests and needs to make larger batches. This little tyke is perfect for the 1 - 2 cups you make for yourself or someone else. It's perfect for when my fiancee and I (or just him) want to drink coffee but do not want to make too much. I like the idea of seeping the water in the coffee grinds (which we now grind ourselves) just like tea, because the coffee retains more flavor. Also, it's really really easy to use. Clean up is a breeze because you take everything apart, rinse, and let dry. I don't like cleaning coffee makers because a. they're more cumbersome, and b. I've always had it in for the place you pull out to put the coffee filter. That thing has ridges so to clean every ridge perfectly drives me NUTS... and it's never clean!!! But with this puppy I never have a problem. I love it. Doubt that my coffee maker will ever make it out of the shelf... EVER AGAIN!!!
Bodem 3 cup coffee pressAug 31, 2010 Generally happy with this, but what could wrong with something so simple? Generally looks to be of fine quality and looks stylish on the counter top. So why did i give only three stars? I wanted something that would make three cups of coffee. It's in the name! In reality it barley makes one. What definition of 'cup' are they using? Anyway for now I will continue to make my guests coffee, one cup at a time :(
Works great but I should've buyed a bigger modelAug 29, 2010 I purchased this french press (3 cup size) a few weeks ago and it works great. Very easy to use and clean.
Good quality, nice looking and the most important thing for me, the coffee is great.
I bought to use only for 1 person, so I thought this size would work ok, but now I realize I should've gone for a bigger one.
Amazon service was great and it was timely delivered.

More hype than functionalityAug 27, 2010 I did not find french press made coffee to be any better than a coffee made from a drip coffee maker. Even with coarse grinding, I found ground coffee at the bottom.
Deceptively SmallAug 26, 2010 The coffee press is excellent -- if you understand that 3 cups of coffee is about the size of a small to medium starbucks coffee.
I might recommend an unbreakable one. I don't think this is easy to break, but I managed to do it within a week of buying it. (It was completely my fault.)
