 Pink adhesive? See images!Apr 11, 2010
Two small issues:
1. The adhesive used to glue the feet and handle to the circular frame is pink (see images)! I personally don't care, but I admit I was surprised when I opened the box and at first didn't believe my eyes. If you're really picky about the colors on your equipment in your kitchen then definitely look at my uploaded pic.
2. While cooking bacon some part of a particularly strong splatter got through. I think this was mentioned in other reviews. But I've cooked a lot of bacon since buying this and the pros greatly outweigh this one, slight con (the vast majority of splatters are completely stopped by the guard).
Overall this is an excellent splatter guard and I recommend it highly. I use it on my 12.5" pan but also my 10". I want the smaller size too (11.5") but for now this is all I can afford and it more than suffices for multiple pan sizes. If you're thinking of ultimately getting multiple sizes I say get this one first like I did. I've been thinking of buying this for a long time and I don't know why I waited. Good investment and it has already saved time cleaning my stove.

This is an excellent design. The large diameter can be used on bigger pans and the feet prevent grease from going all over the counter.

I ordered 2 of these splatter guards since my son saw me using one while cooking bacon on the stove (it was a competitors brand!) and loved it, so I gave him mine. I went online and ordered 2 from Cuisipro thru Amazon because they looked sturdy, made of stainless steel. Both of them were delivered and looked like someone drove over them several times with a truck, so I returned them and asked for 2 replacements.(one was for me and one was a gift) A week or so later, 2 more arrived, looking worse than the original two! But since I was keeping one, my husband said, what difference does it make if it's bent as long as it works. The other one i needed for a gift right away so I gave it to my friend aploogizing for the road trip this one took getting here! I told her that I would get another one that didn't look so bent and she said she didn't mind and would keep it as long as it worked. But I was not pleased with how any of them looked. So I won't buy another one from Cuispro. You can buy some lesser quality ones for $7.95 for TWO in WalMart...they work just as well! And at least you don't have to buy them as they are all bent out of shape...like me! Sorry!

Very happy with the quality of this product. The size is perfect for a variety of pan sizes. I've had it for about a month now and I use it a couple times a week. It is easy to clean and seems durable.

I've had this product for several years now and still use it. I love the feet so that I don't make a mess by resting it on the counter. Clean up is easy (dishwasher) and it still looks good!
