5Expensive but works greatJul 18, 2010
This garlic press works better than any others I have used. The stainless steel is great - I hate aluminum tools. To clean it, we just remove the garlic peels and put it in the dishwasher with the handles fully opened. It is expensive but makes a nice gift.

5The Food MechanicJul 11, 2010
The Rosle Garlic Press has a mechanical advantage over the non-articulated press that it replaced. The difference is in the amount of hand force required to do the press. The instrument is relatively easy to clean. I have used the Rosle about two dozen times and it feels well built, and should last.

2Holy Grail (but not the Roesle)Jun 06, 2010
Been chopping & grating garlic for 50 years because garlic presses were always a pain but still kept searching. Finally bought yet another one because of its provenance and styling : The Roesle came apart at the weld after a few presses . So much for curb appeal. Then saw the review of the KUN RIKON in Cooks' Magazine and bought it -- a revelation. Superb in handling, output, residual, and cleaning.

57 years and going strong!Apr 21, 2010
I have owned this garlic press for almost 7 years (bought right here on Amazon). It has seen continued, regular use over that entire time, and has been washed both by hand and in the dishwasher with the same results! It is perfect and still looks brand new. I love this press! What an investment. The best part is that the price is just about the same today as it was 7 years ago. Buy this press. You will be happy, and the years of use you will get out of it will more than make up for the few extra dollars it costs. Bon Apetite!

Three things recommend this press (and the extra money it costs):
1. It is the easiest press to clean I've owned.
2. It feels solid in your hand and is the sturdiest press I've owned.
3. It is the most comfortable press I've owned.
I recently bought a second one for my son-in-law in South Africa.
