This item comes with two different sized rubber seals to fit different sized bottles. It has a convenient drying/strage stand. It is very easy to use and is also easy to clean. I have really enjoyed it!

The concept is interesting but not one of the better options on the market. This aerator directs the wine to flow around the inside of a glass bulb. The aerator allows for a more vertical pour since it slows down the pour but that is a little like pouring the wine direct from the bottle, without tipping your glass, and then swirling it. The actual aeration produced by this bottle top unit seems quite minimal and we could not detect a difference when taste testing against a straight pour.

I've used this bottle top decanter a few times now. I have tried the same bottle with and without decanting through the Soiree and it definitely helped smooth it out and bring out some pleasant flavors as decanting traditionally does. I haven't put it head to head, same glass of wine, with traditionally decanted wine but read reviews where they did (Google it)... it is apparently almost the same... Overall I am happy with the product.

We gave this to friends who were throwing a party, and used it to entertain and it amused all the wine drinkers there. Everyone could taste the difference. There was generally a reduction in the bitter or acidic edge that a wine can have when the bottle is first opened. Some wines became a whole different drink when aerated through the Soiree model, although generally the difference was slight.
We also bought one for ourselves and use it every time we open a bottle. I know there will always be some sort of improvement, sometimes remarkably so. And boy, is it ever a fun conversation-starter. If you know a gadget lover who also drinks wine, this should your next gift to him or her---or yourself.
